We are located just off highway #3 on the Alberta/British Columbia border. Summit Creek Cabins (formally Inn on the Border) is the BEST KEPT SECRET in the ROCKIES. We are 3 km west on highway #3 from Crowsnest Lake. Be sure to slow down and allow traffic following you to pass where possible as there is no turning lane to our access. Turn left at the green and white "CROWSNEST" town sign on the highway as you are driving uphill. We are located at the old townsite of CROWSNEST. The left turn is hard & the gravel road is downhill & we are across the tracks with a blue roof. The cabins are located at the back of the property with access on the west side of the lodge (which is now our private home).
If you miss the turn into our place, continue on Highway 3 for 1.5 km to the weigh scales in BC and turn around. It is easier to turn into our access coming from the west.
We are 2 1/2 hours south of Calgary. Take highway #2, and then turn west at the Highway #3 junction towards the British Columbia border. We are located 10 miles west of the municipality of Crowsnest Pass, and 10 miles east of Sparwood, B.C. - right on the border. The Fernie Alpine Resort is 35 minutes away from us.
From Kalispell, Montana take highway #93 then take highway #3 east past Fernie and Sparwood.Nearest airports are in Calgary, Alberta, Glacier International Airport near Kalispell, Montana, USA and Cranbook, British Columbia.
